My childhood cake .... hmmm ... flavors: ripe apples, cinnamon, ... memories.

  • Wheat:
  • 400 gr. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • lemon peel
  • 1 baking powder
  • salt
  • Filling:
  • 1 kg of apples
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Servings: 18

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes


Filling. We clean the apples, we grate them. Add sugar and cinnamon.

Wheat. Mix the ingredients on the counter and spread two sheets.

Place the first sheet in a tray with waxed paper, sprinkle a little semolina to absorb the apple juice from the filling.

We put the filling over the first sheet, then we put the second sheet.

To help bake and release steam from the filling we can make holes with a fork on the surface of the cake.

Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes on the right heat.

When the cake has cooled, sprinkle vanilla powdered sugar.
